Balka Dress sewing pattern from Wardrobe by Me. Balka is a kaftan-style dress or blouse with a button placket. The sleeves are attached to the shoulders with abundant gathers and have elasticated hems. The skirt of the dress features numerous gathers at the waist and side seam pockets.

FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: 

140 cm (55″) wide fabric: View A, 3 m (3.25 yd) // View B, 1.9 m (2.25 yd).

RECOMMENDED FABRIC: 

Use lightweight woven fabric. For a dramatic effect, use cotton or linen. For a softer effect, use viscose or silk.

NOTIONS: Interfacing, 0.25 m/yd; three 10-12 mm (3/8″-1/2″) buttons; elastic, 5-10 mm (1/4″-3/8″) wide, 60-72 cm (23.5″-29.5″).
